And, now we’re in a pandemic…

I keep meaning to come back to writing here with some regularity, but…it was discouraging to come back and see that my last post was supposed to introduce a series of posts about our trip to Israel (in June 2018), which is now almost 2 years ago!! And I never did actually post anything further.

And, as of this weekend, I and my kids, and virtually everyone else in the world is hunkered down, banned from schools, with all venues where people congregate for entertainment, socializing, and basically living life, is shut down. I’m not sure how we are going to keep busy without going nuts in isolation – certainly, this will be a good chance to finishing some knitting projects:

And, playing with our new kitten, who is using my dining room chairs to test his balance:

And, a chance to catch up on laundry, cleaning, picking up windblown sticks around my yard…and probably binging some TV (I’ve been catching up with the rest of the world by watching the Sopranos).

It’s funny how, when you’re prohibited from doing something – you really, really want to do whatever is prohibited. But, since everything is closed, there really isn’t much to do…We will get through this.

Keep Calm, and Wash You Hands!
