Shopping kosher

Today is the first shabbat after passover. We’ll enjoy challah again (although with a crazy week at work and at home, I didn’t manage to bake).

When we started keeping strictly Kosher in our home, shopping got simplified, because there are whole areas of the store that one avoids (no pork products, no shellfish, and lots of processed foods). One of my favorite stores, Wegmans, has a dedicated Kosher section:

During Passover, shopping is even more restricted – the entire baking aisle is off-limits, and all processed foods except for the over-priced kosher-for-Passover foods.

So, it was a pleasure to revisit this aisle and pick up some flour (for next week’s challah).

Happy baking!

It was nice to be able to
