Today we had a day off, and were lucky enough to be able to join with about a half dozen of our colleagues for a day trip to the beach, about 2 hours away from the ETU.  It was amazing, and a little surreal – so lovely to spend some time swimming in the ocean, walking on the sand, and enjoying the sun with a nice breeze to keep the heat tolerable.

Looks lovely doesn’t it?  It could have been any beach in the Florida, with lovely clean sand, and warm waves.  But, I’ve never seen this on a beach in the US, have you?

We returned back to Port Loko rested and ready to start our new work assignments.  (And hoping to come back again in a week or two!)
