I migrated this blog to a new hosting service, when I discovered recently that on my old host, I was paying more and getting less, so like a good consumer, I looked around for a better deal. I’m hoping I succeeded (I’m not really the queen of comparative shopping – I just don’t have the patience for it).
So, I backed up my site from the older server, moved the domain settings to the new server, installed WordPress and restored my files from the backup. It gave me a chance to reassess the theme I was using, and I’ve updated a bit. Now, rather than the photo that always graced my header, which was of the inlet where my dad lost his life by drowning. Now it’s a view of a stupa, a dome-shaped Buddhist shrine that one finds dotted around Sri Lanka.
I have a total of 383 posts, some of which have photos that are meant to be embedded. I have no idea how many have photos. Sigh.
Well, maybe this is a good pandemic project…along with my increasingly numerous knitting projects…
