I remember so many years, living in California, when I felt out of the loop because I was three hours behind my east coast friends, and eight hours behind my England folks, and immediate communication was not in the books.
Living on the east coast, I am usually between the time zones, meaning I can catch either side conveniently. But now, visiting the west coast, not so much.
Oddly enough, it feels more remote now? What’s that about?
I can’t tell if I’m home or not. So disorienting…
