I’m at Tikvat Israel for the Broadman-Kaplan Early Childhood Center tonight for J’s back-to-school night. It was easier last year, when both kids were at the same school! So, next week, we’ll have this again for S’s school.  I’m so impressed with the energy and commitment of the teachers here, and the fabulous director – Rori Pollak!!  They are all so committed to making the BK-ECC a welcoming, nurturing place where the kids actually learn all kinds of things!!

It’s been a wonderful preparation for S, who is doing great, so far, in kindergarten, with confidence and composure, and the ability to listen and follow directions that I’m sure came, in no small part, from the ECC.  And J is loving his second year here!!  His new teacher, Ms. Marian, is the best!
