I took this photo one morning back in May, and meant to add an entry here about them, but keep having no time to.  This photo is of a lego flower – J found it one morning, and came into my bathroom while I was showering, holding it in his mouth!!!  I freaked out, and pulled it out of his mouth, and told him that he can’t put things like this in his mouth…he might choke!!!

So, I put it up on top of the shower door frame:

and, he cried, and cried, and cried…

We waited until he stopped crying, and then I asked him if he wanted to have the flower back, as long as he didn’t put it back in his mouth.  He thought about it for a good 30-60 seconds, and finally decided it should stay “up high”.  Clearly, he realized that he wouldn’t be able to control his impulse to put it back in his mouth, and decided it was best to have it out of reach.

I think this is the beginning of his Super-Ego…wow!
